Nominees: European Film Awards

The European Film Awards have a obvious skew, which makes them less a precursor for the Oscars than other awards. However, it does give us a good flavour of which films on the continent are garnering most acclaim.

This year’s nominees comprise a predictable bunch with I, Daniel BlakeElle and Toni Erdmann among the European Film nominees and The Red Turtle and My Life as a Courgette winning animation nods.
