Nominees: 2016 WAFCA Awards
The Washington DC Area Film Critics Association have announced their annual nominees. Unlike the Spirit Awards the turnaround is rapid, with winners announced just two days later.
Among the nominees are La La Land, Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea and Hell or High Water – all are competing for Best Film, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Don’t be fooled by the absence of Silence – it will make an impact in the new year.
