Winners: 2017 Golden Globe Awards

It was one of the most surprising Golden Globes in years, not least so because La La Land won a record breaking seven awards, not dropping a single nomination.

Damien Chazelle’s musical won every category it was nominated in, including best screenplay which was considered fairly safe for Manchester by the Sea. However, Casey Affleck offered some compensation for the drama by winning best actor. But it was a miserable night for Moonlight who were shut out in all but one category, winning best drama.
