We’re looking for an enthusiastic film-lover, who would be willing to contribute at least 8 hours of work a week as our News Editor. The position, whilst voluntary, would offer a number of benefits such as free films, press events, festivals as well as the experience of working for a fast-growing film website with a team of like-minded film-lovers.

The News Editor will be responsible for sourcing news articles that our readers will be interested in and posting them to the site and Social Media. The News Editor will be able to recruit a news team as he/she sees fit to deliver effective and interesting news stories as they break worldwide.

Movie Marker was recently named as one of the top ten film websites in the UK by Cision and having enjoyed a record breaking month in January in terms of visits and hits on the website, as well as our growing social media presence, we are looking to grow our team ready for a busy 2015. The position will also be one of the first to become a paid position should regular funding become available.
