Unnerving New Trailer For ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’
‘I don’t understand why i should have to pay the price.. Why my children should have to pay the price.’
Giving a sinister new lease of life to the Ellie Goulding track ‘Burn’, A24 have today released a superb official trailer for ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’, the latest effort from the peculiar mind of The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos.
Already a Best Screenplay winner at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The film sees Lanthimos collaborate once again with Colin Farrell, as we’re merely teased of the familial dysfunction between his talented surgeon, on-screen wife Nicole Kidman who also starred alongside Farrell in The Beguiled this Summer and Dunkirk star Barry Keoghan.
With its startling imagery epitomised by the withdrawal of its long corridors and aerial shots, along with the deathly stares of its ensemble. This is shaping up to be a potent slice of psychological horror.
The Killing Of A Sacred Deer is released in UK cinemas on 17th November 2017.
