Superb New Trailer For Midnight Special
It’s already graced this year’s Berlin International Film Festival and earned its director a Golden Bear nomination. Already making a sizable mark with the likes of Mud starring Matthew McConaughey and apocalypse drama Take Shelter, the new trailer for Jeff Nichols’ latest effort Midnight Special has debuted and is shaping up to be exactly that.

Reunited with his Shelter’ leading man Michael Shannon (Man Of Steel) whom is alongside Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia), Joel Edgerton (Warrior) and Jaeden Lieberher, aesthetically and thematically Nichols’ film is set to draw comparisons with genre counterparts Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and Looper, with its ‘special power’ premise.
