Spellbinding First Trailer For Ava DuVernay’s ‘A Wrinkle In Time’
‘The only thing faster than light.. Is the darkness.’
So say Oprah Winfrey’s lavishly dressed Mrs Which. Well consider our weekend truly brightened up thanks to Disney, as the first and fantastic teaser trailer for Ava DuVernay’s (Selma) hotly-anticipated adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle In Time has arrived.
Underpinned by a fresh take on the iconic Eurythmics track Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This, we are introduced to Chris Pine’s missing scientist Dr. Alex Murry who looks like he’ll be providing much of the emotional charge, alongside daughter Meg (Storm Reid) as her search for her father stretches across dimensions.
Also starring Mindy Kaling as Mrs Who, Reese Witherspoon’s Mrs Whatsit and Zach Galifianakis’ The Happy Medium, the film is scripted by Jennifer Lee who has already worked her magic with the likes of Frozen.
The film is released on 23rd March 2018 in the UK. Save the date.
