Sci-Fi Film FLASHOUT Releases Late March
Random Media has acquired the U.S. rights to the sci-fi film ‘FLASHOUT’, starring Lorynn York (Dear White People), Maya Stojan (Castle), Malea Rose (Kidnap), Jonathan Goldstein (Drake & Josh), Gerard Downey (Because I Said So), and Alison Dunbar (Criminal Minds). The film will release on-demand and on all digital platforms on March 26th.
Inside a space habitat in a parallel universe, three young women play a blind date reality-collapsing game in order to experience the euphoric, sensory releasing FLASHOUT. Unexpectedly they find themselves trapped on unfamiliar planet Earth by an alien realty repairman assigned to preserve the Multiverse by destroying their pleasure-filled game. They encounter a jogger, a rocker, a biker, the exploitative owner of an escort service, a radio telescope supervisor, and others vulnerable to their ecstatic FLASHOUT. Surviving confrontational clashes with the awkward repairman, the women finally find a pathway to a larger game played among all alternate universes.

The film, which scooped up several film festival awards including; ‘Best Narrative Feature Film’ at the 2018 Los Angeles Film Awards, ‘Best Feature In All Genres’ at the 2018 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, ‘Best Science Fiction Feature Film’ at the 2018 Oniros Film Awards, also stars Blythe Auffarth (Keeping the Faith), Vedette Lim (The Good Doctor), John Patrick Jordan (The Affair), Brittany Faith Rosoff (Criminal Minds) and Cheryl Francis Harrington (Grey’s Anatomy).
