Sanders Dropped From Snow White Sequel!

It wasn’t the most generously received blockbuster of the Summer tentpoles, but Universal’s reimagining of Snow White And The Huntsman starring the likes of Chris ‘Thor’ Hemsworth and Charlize Theron was a box office smash worldwide and ultimately proved a successful directorial debut for its helmer Rupert Sanders. However, no one anticipated the very public aftermath involving himself and his leading lady Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga).

Embroiled in scandal for many a month, this decision was perhaps inevitable. Rupert Sanders has finally confirmed that he will play no part in the follow up to ‘Snow White’. Declared the case by Radar Online, the reason given is simple and understandable. Sanders is ‘desperately still trying to save his marriage.’ The director will handle a different project however, in the form of science fiction film ‘The Juliet’ on behalf of Sony Pictures.

With Universal very much on the hunt for a new director, at least they can take solace in the fact that Kristen Stewart will return for the sequel.
