Ridley Scott Wants To Make A Battle Of Britain Film
War films have been a popular genre since the birth of cinema and now one of the world’s greatest directors, Ridley Scott, is set to make one about the Battle of Britain.
Following in the footsteps of fellow British director Christopher Nolan, whose film Dunkirk is released later this year, Scott wants to make a movie about another key battle from World War II.
Matthew Orton sold the basic pitch to 20th Century Fox and Scott last year and the film has been developing ever since.
The Battle of Britain was one of the major victories for the allies during the war.
