Rami Malek Rocks Out As Freddie Mercury In ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Trailer
Sacha Baron Cohen. Ben Whishaw. Bryan Singer. It’s safe to imply that ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’s road to the big-screen has been far from smooth, as it looks to do justice to iconic frontman Freddie Mercury and the band Queen.
Now in the capable hands of Eddie The Eagle director Dexter Fletcher, who has recently signed on for another musical biopic ‘Rocketman’ focusing on Elton John, along with Mr Robot star Rami Malek.
We finally have a teaser trailer for the film courtesy of 20th Century Fox and we don’t think it’ll have much trouble, finding somebody to love it.
The film which also stars Mike Myers, Ben Hardy, Aidan Gillen and Joseph Mazzello arrives in UK cinemas on 24th October 2018.
‘Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.’
