R.I.P Tony Scott
Tony Scott, director of Top Gun, has died. He was 68. Authorities confirmed Scott died after jumping from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. It’s been said Scott’s death is being treated as suicide.
Scott, younger brother of film-maker Ridley Scott, is best known for his 1986 film ‘Top Gun’, starring Tom Cruise. He also directed Beverly Hills Cop II, Days of Thunder, True Romance, Man on Fire, Déjà vu and, most recently, Unstoppable.
He ran Scott Free Productions along with his brother and produced a number of Ridley’s films, as well as his own.
A respected person in the industry, Tony Scott will surely be missed.
