Here;s what we can hope to see materialise in the next few months from the world famous studio.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 2

In truth not a lot can be said about Captain America 2 other than it will be happening. Steve Rogers will be portrayed again by Chris Evans, but the only other cast member confirmed is Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be taking the lead having been responsible for the hugely popular T.V Series, ‘Community’.

In regards to any other information, filming hasn’t even got under way yet, so as soon as this changes we will start seeing pictures and rumours emerge.

Thor 2

Thor 2, along with the other Post Avengers films, will carry on from the end of Avengers Assemble where we witnessed our heroes go their separate ways having saved the world from Thor’s maniacal brother Loki (Tom Hiddlestone). Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has the responsibility of transporting Loki back to Asgard to face Odin (Anthony Hopkins) for his crimes and that is where we see them leave in Avengers Assemble . Natalie Portman will be returning to her role as Jane Foster as well as Stellan Skarsgard as Erik Selvig.

Thor 2 is currently halfway through filming but we should expect some footage within the next month or so.

Iron Man 3

Last, but certainly not least comes Iron Man 3, Marvel’s most popular franchise to date will return with another instalment. Director Shane Black will team up with Robert Downey Jr. again, after the pair worked together on 2006’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle both return.

The event gave us a few clues in regards to what might be happening with the series, with Downey Jr mentioning during an introduction that this would be ‘Iron Man’s finest hour’ and that the other films ‘have set Iron Man 3 up perfectly’. This leads us to believe two things, firstly, that this will be Iron Mans final solo movie. The fact that the other films have set Iron Man 3 up perfectly suggests that the ending of Avengers, where Bruce Banner leaves with Tony Stark could see the appearance of The Hulk.

Iron Man 3 has recently started filming so we were treated to a little CGI feature with the special effects on display looking scintillating as usual.

Other News

Perhaps the news that many Marvel fans wanted to see was a new Hulk film, however with the big green guy likely to appear in Iron Man 3 as well as other films, possibly Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel and Disney have kept quiet on this front. The same applies to Black Widow and Hawkeye, no confirmation yet as to which movies, if any tey will be appearing in next.
