Patti Cake$ Gets A Great New Trailer

The more we see of the raw rapping talents of Killa P AKA Patricia Dombrowski, the more we’re convinced that Patti Cake$ will be a sleeper hit when it hits UK cinemas on 1st September.

Marking the directorial debut of Geremy Jasper with the title character played by newcomer Danielle Macdonald, Fox Searchlight have unleashed a killer official trailer that perfectly captures the ferocity of its leading lady and the deep cynicism she encounters from her ‘haters’.

Patti Cake$ also stars Bridget Everett as Patti’s mom Barb, Siddharth Dhananjay and Mamoudou Artie.

Ahead of its release, the film will be screening at Somerset House on Wednesday 23rd August, as part of Film 4 Summer Screen.
