Official Trailer For 6 Days
6 terrorists. 26 hostages. 30 rooms. 6 floors.
Taking us back to the terrifying scenes that took place in the Iranian Embassy situated in London back in 1980 as the SAS mapped out a meticulous raid, the tense trailer for Toa Fraser’s 6 Days is undoubtedly potent in such troubling times.
Interspersed with news footage as Tim Pigott Smith’s (whom sadly passed away last week) William Whitelaw drives home the importance of the Thatcher-led government swiftly dealing with such despicable acts, this first look takes a lean and restrained approach in depicting the standoff whilst showcasing the film’s other key players Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), Abbie Cornish (Limitless) and Mark Strong (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
We’ll be keeping a keen eye on this one. The film hits UK cinemas on 4th August.
