Native American Drama ‘Apache Leap’ Sets February 7 Release
Random Media is releasing the coming-of-age Native American drama ‘Apache Leap’ on February 7th, 2023. The film stars Ignacio Kenton, Douglas Miles Sr., Carrie Sage Curley, Mariah Kitcheyan and in his final screen performance, legendary Apache actor Chesley Goseyun Wilson (12 Years a Slave, The Revenant, Geronimo).
Directed by Christian Rozier and featuring a majority of cast and crew members from the San Carlos Apache Tribe, the movie follows Apache artist Keane who is forced into a desperate mission to get a job before the deadline passes and his dreams evaporate, while confronting family stresses, enemies from his past, and an unpredictable old car.
Written by John Lewis Tandy and Christian Rozier ‘Apache Leap’ has picked up film festival heat including Best First Nations Feature Film: 2022 Oz Indie Film Festival, Best Narrative Feature: 2022 IndieEye Film Awards, Best Feature Film: 2022 Paris Play Film Festival, and Special Jury Award: 2022 Brazil International Film Festival.
