Live-Action Aladdin Casting Middle Eastern Leads
Disney is very much on board the live-action train with Beauty and the Beast hitting cinemas next week and now they are on the hunt for Middle Eastern leads for their live-action version of Aladdin.
Ensuring that they stay clear of accusations of whitewashing Disney has put out a casting call clearly stating “these characters are Middle Eastern”.
Guy Ritchie is directing the live-action version of the Disney classic which is set to start shooting next year.
