Latest Dan Gilroy/Jake Gyllenhaal Film Confirms Ensemble
A film which earned its director/writer a Best Original Screenplay nomination at the Oscars in 2015. Dan Gilroy’s ‘Nightcrawler’ was an outstanding dissection of hard-hitting crime journalism, through the twisted persona of Jake Gyllenhaal’s slick-haired con man Louis Bloom.
So it’s no surprise that we are thoroughly excited to see them pair up once again, for a currently untitled film for Netflix.
With production already underway in Los Angeles, the starry ensemble has finally been revealed for the horror-thriller, which will revolve around ‘big-money artists and mega-collectors who pay a high price when art collides with commerce.’
In another ‘Nightcrawler’ reunion, Rene Russo will be alongside Nocturnal Animals’ Zawe Ashton, Far From The Madding Crowd’s Tom Sturridge, Stranger Things’ Natalia Dyer, The Way Way Back’s Toni Collette, Wonder’s Daveed Diggs and Deepwater Horizon’s John Malkovich.
The film is set to arrive on the streaming service later this year.
