Jurassic Park 4 Officially A ‘Go’!
To supplement demand, the 1994 original based on the Michael Crichton novel may have been granted a re-release to be given the 3D treatment. However, a ‘fresh’ installment is what many fans seemed to have been truly craving. Stuck in limbo for a prolonged period, that is until now.
Universal Pictures have finally confirmed that a fourth helping of ‘Jurassic Park’ is in the offing. He passed on ‘number 3’ (Joe Johnston taking the reins) after providing the well received predecessors and it seems director Steven Spielberg, is not readying himself to get back in the director’s chair for this helping either.
Instead, he will remain heavily involved in a producing capacity alongside Frank Marshall whilst he plots his next move, after putting ‘Robocalpyse’ on hold this week. As with the original’s re-release, Jurassic Park 4 will be shot in ‘3D’ and is set to be unleashed in cinemas on June 13th 2014.
