J.K Simmons To Be Justice League’s Commissioner Gordon
He whipped Miles Teller into shape, leading him to a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his compelling work in Damien Chazelle’s (the upcoming La La Land) Whiplash.
He’s certainly no stranger to the world of comicbooks either with his side-splitting portrayal of larger-than-life Daily Bugle chief editor J.Jonah Jameson, in Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy.
Now he is set to follow in the footsteps of Gary Oldman whom played this particular character in Christopher Nolan’s successful Dark Knight trilogy.
J.K Simmons has been confirmed as director Zach Snyder’s (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice) choice to be Commissioner Gordon.
Lined up to be another crucial component to the Justice League double-header, with Part 1 arriving in November 2017 and Part 2 in June 2019, Simmons joins an ever expanding ensemble already consisting of Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
