Intoxicating First Trailer For Woodshock Starring Kirsten Dunst
‘What did you do Theresa? What did you do?’
The first trailer for Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s Woodshock is certainly high on ambiguity and exquisite visuals, as we are introduced to Kirsten Dunst’s (also in Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled this Summer) distressed and paranoid protagonist.
The seamless editing of this teaser here merely heightening the sense of mystery within its narrative, it creates an ethereal and dreamlike quality which isn’t a far cry from Dunst’s Lars Von Trier end-of-the-world collaboration ‘Melancholia’, as she ascends through the twisted beauty of its woodlands.
With distributor A24 backing this one whom have been on a remarkable roll recently, consider us shook already.
Also starring Green Room’s Joe Cole and Ghost In The Shell’s Pilou Asbaek. Woodshock will be released later this year.
