Half of Hollywood Join David O. Russell’s Next Feature
It’s been almost 6 years since David O. Russell’s last project Joy and he is seemingly making up for lost time by stocking his upcoming feature full of A-Listers.
According to Deadline, Robert De Niro, Timothy Olyphant, Mike Myers, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Michael Shannon and Matthias Schoenaerts have all signed on to star in the film – initially called Amsterdam – the film already had Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Zoe Saldana and Rami Malek attached.
One thing is for sure – with a cast this stacked, it’s sure to be Oscar-bait when the awards season rolls around.
Not much is known about the film at this point, other than it is based on an original idea from O. Russell – who himself has been nominated for 5 Academy Awards.
