Trailer For Morrissey Biopic ‘England Is Mine’
2017 marks thirty years since one of the defining rock bands of the 1980’s broke up, after providing the masses with classic tracks like ‘This Charming Man’ and ‘How Soon Is Now’.
Consisting of Mike Joyce, Andy Rourke, Johnny Marr and Steven Patrick Morrissey. The terrific debut trailer for ‘England Is Mine’ teases the passionate portrait the film’s director Mark Gill, is set to paint of The Smith’s iconic frontman in his formative years, as we’re immersed in 1970s’ Manchester.
Starring Jack Lowden who also stars in Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated version of Dunkirk this Summer and Downton Abbey actress Jessica Brown Findlay, the film has the honour of closing this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival.
‘England Is Mine’ is officially released across the UK on 4th August 2017.
