Epic Final Trailer For War For The Planet Of The Apes
Through previous instalments ‘Dawn (2014) and ‘Rise (2011), the Apes’ franchise has undergone one of the most thrilling and emotionally satisfying revivals of recent years.
Now this July (14th), we will witness the War For The Planet Of The Apes and if the film’s new trailer is anything to go by, it’s going to be quite the spectacle.
With Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) returning as director, we get a further insight into the intense power struggle between Andy Serkis’ highly intelligent ape Caesar who declares he didn’t start but will end this conflict, coupled with the uncompromising nature of Woody Harrelson’s Colonel.
Consider this our reaction to the trailer..
‘Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.’
