‘Entourage’ Set For Big Screen Outing!

It’s hardly uncommon that once an American TV show strikes gold on the small screen, attention soon shifts towards plotting whether a big screen outing would be wise for all parties. The Simpsons, Sex and The City.. the list is endless. Now it is the turn of Adrien Grenier’s Hollywood hotshot Vince Chase and the gang.

Warner Bros have finally given the ‘green light’ to HBO tv series ‘Entourage’ to be made into a film. The show boasting the likes of Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold) and Kevin Connoly (Eric Murphy)  as well as various high profile cameos throughout its successful eight season run (2004-2011), is set to be directed by the show’s creator Doug Ellin who has also penned the script.

Mark Wahlberg who will soon be seen in Michael Bay’s ‘Pain and Gain’ with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, is also back as ‘Executive Producer’.

No production or release date has been set for the film, as negotiations with many of its original cast members are still to be tied up with no stumbling blocks anticipated. Immersed in the glitz and glam of L.A’s celebrity culture, ‘Entourage’ should certainly have no difficulty transitioning into the confines of the big screen.
