Del Toro/Brolin Return In Compelling Official Trailer For ‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’
Considering how skeptical we were initially about a sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s gripping 2015 predecessor. ‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’ has quickly become one of our most anticipated releases of the Summer schedule.
A follow-up which sees Benicio Del Toro’s enforcer Alejandro Gillick and Josh Brolin’s federal agent Matt Graver return. This superb new trailer sees Catherine Keener lament their attempts to start a war with the Mexican government, with the initial objective being simply to target the cartels. A fierce conflict which only intensifies with the kidnapping of a cartel kingpin’s teenage daughter.
Directed by Gomorrah’s Stefano Sollima. The film hits UK cinemas on 29th June 2018.
