David Oyelowo Joins Doug Liman’s ‘Chaos Walking’
He’s about to unleash his latest collaboration with Tom Cruise this week, in the form of ‘American Made’. Yet Doug Liman is hardly resting on his laurels.
With a sequel to ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’ on the way, he’s also set to bring another science fiction property to the big screen, with ‘Chaos Walking’.
Written by Patrick Ness who had great success in adapting the beautifully crafted ‘A Monster Calls’ earlier this year, it will be based on the first book in the series ‘The Knife Of Never Letting Go’, set in a dystopian world where living creatures have the ability to hear each other’s thoughts.
The project already boasts Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Tom Holland, Doctor Strange’s Mads Mikkelsen and Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Daisy Ridley. Now Liman has acquired the talents of David Oyelowo, who starred in last year’s A United Kingdom and will play one of the film’s antagonists Aaron.
Chaos Walking is set to be released in March 2019.
