Cameron Crowe Eyeing Cooper/Stone Combo For His Latest!
In the early stages of his career, this particular director set the world alight with Jerry ‘Show Me The Money!’ Maguire and the underappreciated Almost Famous. Sadly for Cameron Crowe, his recent track record is distinctly average (Elizabethtown and We Bought A Zoo!?).
Seemingly eager to capture a sense of past glories, he’s attracting big names for his latest project. Already on board is Easy A and Crazy Stupid Love star Emma Stone, who will soon be seen playing a classic femme fatale in Ruben Flesicher’s Gangster Squad. Refusing to let the male side down, Bradley Cooper soon to be seen in Silver Linings Playbook, is reported (Deadline) to be signing up for the film.
The film remains untitled currently, although it has been suggested it will be called ‘Deep Tiki’ in some quarters and is teasing to be a ‘two hander with a tone reminiscent’ of Crowe’s earlier successes Maguire and Famous respectively.
Expect Crowe’s latest to debut in the year 2014!
