From a young age, Jasmine has participated in various school plays, developing her passion for theater and storytelling. She has also been part of a smaller TV production in Sweden, playing a waitress in the family competition program 1mot Sverige.

Jasmine is dreaming of building a thriving acting career and making acting her life’s work. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends, laughing, and socializing. She also enjoys horseback riding and has a special place in her heart for animals.

Welcome to Movie Marker. What would be your dream project?

My dream project is to star in a Hollywood comedy-action movie that’s shown in cinemas worldwide. I’d love to feel the thrill of performing action scenes and seeing how they come to life on the big screen. At the same time, I’d love to give people a good laugh. I’ve always enjoyed making others laugh and laughing along with them. Comedy is something I’m passionate about and combining it with action would be an incredible experience. Sharing that journey with one of my favorite actors would make it even more surreal and unforgettable.

What do you love more, acting, musical theatre, singing, modelling?

I love acting the most. I’ve always enjoyed entertaining people and being in the spotlight. I love it when I can get people to laugh, there is nothing more fulfilling. What I love about acting is the chance to step into someone else’s shoes and explore different personalities, even someone completely unlike me, like a mean kid. It’s exciting to experience what it’s like to be someone else, and it offers a sense of freedom, almost like escaping reality for a little while.

Who are your favorite actors?

I have many favorite actors, but some of them are Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Winona Ryder, and Angelina Jolie. Whenever they’re in a movie or series, I feel compelled to watch it. For example, even though I find “Dune a bit” too complicated to fully understand, I’ve watched both parts about five times each because I love seeing Timothée act. It’s fascinating how he completely transforms into his roles, whether he’s playing Paul Atreides or Willy Wonka. He makes you forget that he’s a well-known actor because he becomes the character so seamlessly.

Zendaya is another favorite — she’s incredibly talented! She can act, dance, and sing beautifully. I grew up watching her and listening to her music, and I’ve always admired everything she’s done. She’s truly an inspiration.

Angelina Jolie is such a talented actor, and I love all of her movies. For example, in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” she really pulls off the seriousness of the role while balancing the comedy. It’s so hard to do that in a way that doesn’t make you lose the authenticity of the acting, but she does it perfectly. She also has a beautiful heart and really cares about important issues. I admire the amazing work she does around the world, like helping children in need. She’s such a remarkable woman.

Winona Ryder is also an incredible actor who I admire so much. I love how her personality shines through in her roles. Even when playing a character, you still need to get your own touch into it and not lose yourself in the character which she’s amazing at. I’m a huge fan of “Stranger Things”, and Joyce is definitely one of my favorite characters. I love how Winona plays her role, Joyce as I think it wouldn’t be the same without her. She’s also so nice to the kids in the cast, which is so important and really reflects on the acting, it makes the bond between them in the series more realistic and warmer.

Do you have a pet peeve?

My pet peeve is when people munch their food loudly, it’s something I absolutely cannot stand. It’s so disgusting, and it completely ruins my appetite. It even gives me this panicky, uncomfortable feeling in my body, I get chills and freak out! The same goes for hearing someone chewing gum loudly; that sound drives me crazy, and I just want to disappear. I can’t even describe how much I hate it. So, please, close your mouths when you’re eating — I’m begging you!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love to watch movies and series as well as the behind the scenes works. It’s so fun to see something get to something so realistic in the final product. I also love reading about the backstory of movies or series and can easily get into a wormhole. I also love making people laugh, hanging out with friends and just talking. My favorite part when hanging out is when we just sit together and talk and laugh. Those moments make me want to be able to freeze time. In addition to that, I love horseback riding, since as soon as you get on the back you just drop everything, how stressed you may be before, everything just disappears, and you just focus on the contact between you and the horse. I love animals so much and care a lot for them. I just love hanging out with animals. You just relax and they will always be there for you no matter what; they don’t care about your looks or anything, they just love you. My dog means the world to me, and I love just sitting on the couch and petting and cuddling with her.

Thank you, Jasmine, we look forward to seeing your journey.
