Annie Awards Announce Call for Submissions
The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, announced today its ‘Call for Entries’ for the 44th Annual Annie Awards set to commence on Monday, August 22. The 44th Annie Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
The Annie Awards have typically been a strong precursor to the Animated Feature Oscar, with many of the nominees here taking their momentum to the Academy Awards. Likely contenders this year include Moana, Trolls, The Secret Life of Pets and Kubo and the Two Strings (pictured above).
