Fresh from the news that Guardians of the Galaxy’s Gamora was set to appear in Marvel’s Avengers: Inifity War comes the news that another fan favourite will also be appearing.
Tom Holland, the young actor who has taken on the role following Andrew Garfields departure, spoke with Italian magazine L’Uomo Vogue, where he seemed to tell the interviewer that he would be taking part in the film. The interview has only been published in print so far, but the Tom Holland Italy Twitter account posted a picture of some of the interview. Check it out: here.
On the third column, Holland talks about Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans convincing the Marvel producers that Holland could hold his own through three movies over the next four years.
Those movies being Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Infinity War. Below, we’ve translated the interview text into English. Some of the verbage gets jumbled in the translation, but its his confirmation here that matters.
Take a look!
“The approval for the role in Spider-Man arrives personally also by Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans ‘They who convinced the Marvel: the producers wanted to be sure that I was the right person before entrusting three films over the next four years, including Avengers: Infinity War. ‘”
