Michael K. Williams of The Wire and Boardwalk Empire will soon join both the Assassin’s Creed and Ghostbusters movies.

Variety says Williams is in talks for supporting roles in both films, with the Paul Feig-directed Ghostbusters project being his first priority. According toTheWrap, Williams’ Ghostbusters character is named Hawkins.

Director Justin Kurzel’s Assassin’s Creed film begins filming this fall. Williams will reportedly join Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in the video game adaptation as a character with a “major stake in the franchise”.

Starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, Ghostbusters is a reboot of the 1984 original featuring an all-female leading cast.In addition to Williams, Andy Garcia and Cecily Strong have also signed on for the reboot.
