Matt Reeves Officially Confirmed To Direct The Batman
Earlier this month we reported that Matt Reeves had stepped away from the offer to direct The Batman but now he has turned the decision on the head and is now officially confirmed as the director.
The superhero flick has certainly been struggling to get a director following Ben Affleck‘s departure but now it seems that the situation has resolved as Reeves and studio Warner Bros. have settled the matter.
In a statement Reeves said:
“I have loved the Batman story since I was a child. He is such an iconic and compelling character, and one that resonates with me deeply. I am incredibly honoured and excited to be working with Warner Bros. to bring an epic and emotional new take on the Caped Crusader to the big screen.”
