A gaggle of famous British faces from a variety of sources will be lending their voices to DreamWorks Animation’s forthcoming adventure Trolls. The film will be screening at the 60th BFI London Film Festival ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, October 21.

Here’s the full press release:

Joining Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake in this year’s highly anticipated DreamWorks’ Animation are a host of British names, lending their five voices to five singing, dancing (and overly optimistic!) Trolls. This talented group of people join the already stellar cast that also includes Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz–Plasse, Christine Baranski, Russell Brand, James Corden, Jeffrey Tambor, Ron Funches, Caroline Hjelt, Aino Jawo, Kunal Nayyar, Quvenzhané Wallis, with John Cleese and Gwen Stefani.

Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid plays Grandma Rosiepuff, the Grandmother of Branch, played by Justin Timberlake “Never thought I’d be playing Justin Timberlake’s Grandma Rosiepuff- what a giggle. Recording my lines was a lot of fun and I’m very excited to have played a part in the movie.”

BBC Radio 1’s Greg James takes on the character of avid skateboarder Aspen Heitz “Delighted to be making my DreamWorks’ debut alongside Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick in Trolls. I only have one line… But WHAT a line it is.”

The role of Mandy Sparkledust will be played by model and mother Abbey Clancy “So excited to be involved in DreamWorks’ upcoming film Trolls alongside such a wonderful cast. It was so much fun to be part of. My little girls can’t wait to watch and see if they can spot mummy’s voice.”

YouTube sensations Connie Glynn (@noodlerella) and Carrie Hope Fletcher (@CarrieHFletcher) round out the UK voice cast playing fun loving Trolls Moxie Dewdrop and Cookie. Connie Glynn said, “I had such a fun time voicing the character Moxie, I can’t wait for everyone to see her in action!”

Actress and author Carrie Hope Fletcher said “I was thrilled to be asked to voice the role of Cookie, it’s such an honour to be part of such an incredible cast”.

From the creators of Shrek comes the most smart, funny, irreverent animated comedy of the year, DreamWorks’ TROLLS.  This October, enter a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters and discover the story of the overly optimistic TROLLS, with a constant song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have TROLLS in their stomach.  Featuring original music from Justin Timberlake, and soon-to-be classic mash-ups of songs from other popular artists, the film stars the voice talents of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz–Plasse, Christine Baranski, Russell Brand, James Corden, Jeffrey Tambor, Ron Funches, Caroline Hjelt, Aino Jawo, Kunal Nayyar, Quvenzhané Wallis, with John Cleese and Gwen Stefani.

DreamWorks’ TROLLS is a fresh, broad comedy filled with music, heart and hair-raising adventures. In October of 2016, nothing can prepare you for our new Troll world.

Zachary Levi Is ‘Shazam!’ In Official Teaser Trailer

Not content with seeing Jason Momoa’s ‘Aquaman’ steal all of the DC glory at Comic-Con this weekend. Zachary Levi is taking a much lighter approach to this often brooding universe with ‘Shazam!’, working like a charm in the fun-filled teaser trailer released by Warner Bros.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, the initial footage focuses on foster kid Billy Batson (Asher Angel), who is chosen to channel superpowers through an ancient wizard, ultimately turning into the titular character with the childish sensibilities intact. Super strength? Flying? He seems more concerned on how he’s meant to pee in his red suit. Yet he’s soon having to use his abilities for good, when faced with Mark Strong’s big bad Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

‘Shazam!’ swoops into UK cinemas in April 2019.

Fantastical Debut Trailer For ‘Aquaman’ Welcomes You To Atlantis

Still reeling from the critical reception which greeted ‘Justice League’ last year. Director James Wan and leading man Jason Momoa are tasked with keeping Warner Bros’ DCEU above water this December with ‘Aquaman’ and after seeing the action-packed first footage straight from Comic-Con, they seem up for the challenge.

Billed as the origin story of the half-human half -Atlantean. We catch glimpses of Arthur Curry’s (Momoa) family unit, most notably Nicole Kidman’s Queen Atlanna and his feisty red-haired ally Mera (Amber Heard), merely teasing his potential king status as he clashes with half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson), allowing Wan to dial up the underwater spectacle and throw in a goat for good measure.

We’re positively drowning in excitement already. Here’s the trailer…

Well. If you thought there wasn’t enough monster mayhem in Gareth Edwards’ 2014 effort.

Michael Dougherty’s (Krampus) 2018 film seems awfully keen to amend this with the epic debut trailer for ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’, pitting the iconic creature against some of his greatest adversaries. Expect stunning money shots of Mothra, Rodan and a certain three-headed titan by the name King Ghidorah, whilst the human heroics are left to the Russell family consisting of Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga and Kyle Chandler.

The film roars into cinemas next May.
