Kyle Chandler/Corey Stoll Join Damien Chazelle’s ‘First Man’
After sending audiences on a show-stopping trip to La La Land earlier this year, director Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling (Drive) already have us very excited about their next collaboration ‘First Man’, a dramatic departure for Chazelle as they adapt the 2005 James R.Hansen book.
With Gosling positioned to play the role of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon as it promises to give us a proper insight into the audacious NASA space mission, he is certainly being backed up by credible talents.
Confirmed to be joining the cast are Kyle Chandler as astronaut Deke Slayton, who was a terrific albeit tragic component of Kenneth Lonergan’s awards season darling Manchester By The Sea and is currently heading up Netflix series Bloodline.
Alongside Chandler will be Corey Stoll, who was the villainous Yellowjacket to Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man for Marvel back in 2015. He will be playing Buzz Aldrin, who ultimately followed in the historic footsteps of Armstrong.
‘First Man’ is slated for an October 2018 release in the US.
